My name is Sara, otherwise known as the Bumfuzzled Badger. I am a crafter (primarily crocheter/knitting but branching into embroidery and other fun things) and a die-hard, lifelong geek. I am also a proud Hufflepuff, though it oddly took me a little while to embrace my Puff-dom. I was a zoo keeper for over a decade, studied swift foxes in grad school and now work surrounded by stacks and stacks of books 🙂 I’ve traveled to the UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Rwanda and Costa Rica. New Zealand is at the top of my bucket list.

This blog is primarily about my love of crafting: dipping my toes into the world of knitting pattern design, learning hand embroidery, making things for my toddler. I’ll also talk about random geeky things that I love as the opportunity arises.

I’m new to this blogging game so if this badger gets a little bumfuzzled… well it’s only to be expected!
